Annual Fund
The Spirit of Excellence Annual Fund plays a critical role in ensuring today’s Priory student continues to have an outstanding classroom education and also helps to provide activities and educational experiences that foster a sense of social responsibility and community involvement through projects that give girls first-hand experience in developing skills to be leaders in the 21st century.
The goal of the Annual Fund is to raise funds to support the students and the mission of the Priory. We are excited to offer a family of funds as feature to our Annual Fund giving program. It offers all members of the community the opportunity to match their personal philanthropic preferences to the Priory’s operating budget. Our goal is a partnership in which your commitment to the school is made visible and tangible in the Priory’s everyday life. These four funds are a representation of that commitment.
Academic Programs and Technology Fund: Teachers make a classroom but we strive to provide them with the materials and tools they need to bring the subject matter to life. The Academic Programs Fund supports everything from classroom supplies such as ‘robot’ parts, lab equipment, art supplies, musical instruments, hardware, software and multi-media content for teaching.
Scholarship and Financial Aid Fund: This fund supports merit-based academic scholarships and needs-based financial aid. The Priory is greatly enriched by attracting and engaging gifted students with a variety of talents who reflect all aspects of cultural and socioeconomic groups in our community. The Scholarship and Financial Aid Fund helps us seek out such students.
Faculty Fund: Great teachers are the heart of the school. In order to retain and recruit the best teachers, the Priory must offer a competitive compensation and benefits package that is augmented by opportunities for professional growth. Contributions to the Faculty Fund will support faculty salaries, workshops and training.
Facilities Fund: This fund supports the general maintenance of the school grounds and classrooms. The Priory’s buildings need special TLC to preserve its historic look and presence. Contributions to this fund will go to improving and maintaining our school grounds.
In addition, you may request the Priory apply your gift to where it is most needed by checking the ‘where it is needed most’ box.
When the fund’s goal has been reached, the school reserves the right to redirect gifts to where it is needed most.
